What is the correct way for my child to apply emollient cream?

Step 1 : CLEAN HANDS OR HANDS-OFF !

Always wash your hands before applying cream, otherwise you might apply germs along with it!

Step 2 : WARM IT UP !

Rub the cream in your hands to warm it up, it will become more fluid and penetrate more effectively.

Step 3 : FACE FIRST

Make large circles on yur cheeks then rub your nose and forehead. And with your two index fingers, don’t forget to rub your eyelids and behind the ears.

STEP 4 : NECK AND CHIN

Raise your neck and apply the cream upwards from the bottom.
Then put your head down to apply it behind your neck.

STEP 5 : BELLY

Make large circles on your belly then put one arm in the air and use the other to apply cream on your sides.

STEP 6 : ARMS

Move upwards from the tip of your hand to your shoulder. Don’t forget to do it twice to cover the inside and the outside of your arms.

STEP 7 : LEGS

Move upwards from the tip of your toes to your knees and thighs. Again, don’t forget to do it twice to cover the inside and the outside of your arms.

STEP 8 : BACK LAST

Ask a family member to give you a little well-deserved massage!
