Because their skin is finer than ours, children are especially vulnerable to UV rays. What is the best way to protect them?
Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics: especially for children
A range of sunscreens for children's sensitive skin, Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics offers five different formats, including a new 40 ml pocket format, easy to slip into a bag for outdoor activities. This formulation is highly water-resistant, fragrance-free, paraben-free and tested under dermatological control for use by children. Its smooth texture is easy to apply and offers a high protection factor without compromise in terms of tolerance.
Prevention begins at an early age

Education in sun protection: secrets to well-protected skin
Teaching our young ones about the dangers of the sun is vital. For example you can teach them:
- avoid the midday sun
Between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. UV rays are at their most dangerous. Show children how to read their shadow: when it is smaller than them, this is the time to avoid the sun.
- take precautions in all situations
It's not just at the beach that children are exposed to intense sunlight, but also at parks and during outdoor activities: they must always use maximum protection.
- reapply frequently
A high protection factor does not give unlimited protection. To maintain effective protection, sunscreen must be reapplied generously every two hours and after swimming.
Clothing: the best protection
When on vacation, a third of children spend an average of 15 hours a week in a bathing suit: it's too much! Hats, sunglasses and dark-colored clothing are the best defense against UV rays.
