Did
you know it?
Children’s skin is more exposed to UV
rays: a child receives 3 times as more rays than an adult! Furthermore,
most of the exposures to the sun, when child are intermittent, therefore
brutal, because skin has not been prepared. Consequently, children’s
skin is all the more exposed to UV-induced cellular damages, which
can cause cancers at adult age.
For that reason, La Roche-Posay launches a solar
protection range especially designed for children: ANTHELIOS
DERMO-PEDIATRICS.
Because they have been created for the fragile
skins of children, the tolerance of these products has been tested
on the most sensitive skins (children and individuals with atopic
eczema) under the control of dermatologists and paediatricians,
to ensure the highest level of security.
Thanks to the exclusive filtering system with
Mexoryl®SX et Mexoryl®XL of ANTHELIOS,
this range of products ensures an Ultra Protection UVB/UVA to effectively
protect the skin against sunburns but also against invisible damages
on the cells’ DNA.
It is well known: repeated bathing, sweating
and sand rubbing are characteristics of children’s games.
However they contribute to progressively diminish the protective
efficacy of sun blocks. To resist all children’s activities,
the formulas of the ANTHELIOS
DERMO-PEDIATRICS range have undergone all the resistance tests:
resistance to water, to sand, and to sweat.
Finally, this range offers a wide choice of
textures easy and quick to apply, without greasy nor sticky effect.
The
SPF50 Milk, fluid and
fresh, smoothes onto on the skin. The
SPF 40 Cream, smooth and soft, allows to control the application,
and the
SPF 40 Spray, very practical, will seduce those fans of quick
application.
