Nails with ridges

Nails may have vertical or horizontal ridges. These flaws are signs of nail ageing, a skin disease (psoriasis, mycosis, etc.) or poor blood circulation. These furrows make the nail fragile and unattractive. Treatment entails the use of a filler nail varnish to resurface the nail.
