Photosensitisation

Photosensitisation, which is an increase in the skin's sensitivity to UV radiation, is often due to a chemical substance or medicinal product. It appears as a rash. Photosensitisation may have no known cause, be induced by an external (perfume) or internal (medicine) trigger or be of genetic origin.
