Brown spots

Brown spots on the skin are the result of overproduction of melanin by melanocytes. The phenomenon occurs after overexposure to the sun or abecause of a hormone imbalance. Brown spots generally appear on the face and back of the hands, the lower neckline in women and the head in men.
